The Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs) 2017
“The Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs) are held every two years (Saturday, January 7 or Sunday, January 8 of 2017) to elect 7 women and 7 men to be Assembly District Delegates (ADDs) for their area. ADDs are responsible for planning and attending informational meetings throughout the region and working with other delegates to represent their community.”*
Rene Aguilera, Delegate, ADEM 6
Rene Aguilera has been a committed and involved member of our community for many years. He served on the Roseville Joint Union High School board where he dealt with issues that affect Latino and minority students. Rene has organized the Cesar Chavez Youth Leadership Conference for over ten years to help Latino students gain access to higher education. Rene is a founding member of the Placer County Latino Democratic Club and will help voice the concerns of the Latino Community to the Democratic Party.
Rolando Diaz, Delegate, ADEM 6
Rolando Diaz has been a member of the Placer County Latino Democratic Club for several years. Rolando was born in Roseville and graduated from Sierra College prior to attending San Francisco State University. He has made a personal contribution to the plight of refugees with his work the International Rescue Committee. He is currently studying at San Francisco State University where he is majoring in International Relations. His unique perspective offered by his youth and background is critical to the success of the Democratic Party in the future.
