January 2018 Membership meeting
Placer County Latino Democratic Club will hold it’s January 2018 General Membership meeting on Saturday, January 13. We will meet at 11 AM at the Placer County Democratic Party HQ located at 699 Washington Blvd, Roseville CA.
We will be discussing the 2018 calendar of events, some fundraising events (including a winter holidays tamale sale!).

Defending DACA
Recently, Texas was in the news when they, and nine other states, chose to challenge DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). They will be pressing the Trump administration to rescind this executive order. Should DACA still be on the books on September 5, 2017, they have threatened to sue the federal government to have DACA canceled.

Placer County Latino Democratic Club will be participating in a phone bank in support of Rene Aguilera.
We will phone bank from 12 noon to 2 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2016. We will be meeting at Fast Freddy’s Pizza & Pasta, 130 Main St. Roseville, CA. Please contact us if you plan on attending.

September 2016 General Membership Meeting
Our September 2016 General Membership meeting will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11 AM.
We will be discussing our upcoming Latino Issues Forum. We will also be discussing some upcoming outreach events in support of Dr. Bob Derlet and Brian Caples.

July General Membership meeting
Our July 2016 General Membership meeting is scheduled for Saturday July 9th, 2016 at 11 AM.
As usual, we will be meeting at Fast Freddy’s Pizza & Pasta, 130 Main St Roseville, CA.
On the agenda will be:

- GOTV events (phone banking, canvassing)
- Staffing a polling station

Rob Rowen to visit PCLDC

Candidate for California Senate District 1, Rob Rowen, will visit Placer County Latino Democratic Club (PCLDC) to discuss his candidacy and issue affecting the people who live in this largely rural district. There will be a question/answer period where you can interact with Rob Rowen and discuss your concerns and share your points of view.
Our meeting will run from 11 AM to 1 PM. Afterwards, we will have some of the Mexican Pizza prepared by our friends at Fast Freddy’s Pizza & Pasta (a Latino-owned business).
When: Saturday, May 1, 2016 11 AM – 1 PM

Voter registration walk – Roseville CA
The Placer County Latino Democratic Club will be hosting a voter registration walk in Roseville, California on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
We will meet at 10 AM at Saugstad Park and we will walk for three hours.

The goal of this walk will be to
- Register new voters
- Convert voters to Permanent Vote By Mail status
- Inform voters about candidates Dr Bob Derlet and Brian Caples.
Join us. Help bring the electoral process to your neighbors.
April 2016 General Membership meeting

On the agenda:
We will be discussing voter registration events scheduled in Roseville and Lincoln, California. These are voter outreach efforts in Latino neighborhoods. Spanish speakers are encouraged to participate.
We will also be discussing upcoming club elections. All officers are up for election. If you’d like to become a leader in our club, then be sure to attend this meeting!
