Together We Can!
Our July 2014 General Membership meeting will take place Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 10 AM until 12 PM (noon).
The Placer County Latino Democratic Club will be holding it’s May 2014 General Membership Meeting on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 AM.
Our scheduled guests include Ann Walker (Candidate for the Roseville Unified School Board) and Ted Herr (Roseville Unified School District).
We are quickly approaching the June elections and there are many things that we need to discuss.
We will meet at Fast Freddy’s Pizza & Pasta, located at 130 Main Street in Roseville, California.
We will be participating in La Semana Latina at Sierra College during the week of March 24-27, 2014.
This will be an excellent opportunity to get out and meet college students and let me know about our club, our values, and why it is important for young adults to be active participants in our democratic process.
The events/ schedule are as follows:
Come out and help the next generation of leaders get started!
We have TWO events going on this Saturday March 15, 2014 and we will need EVERYONE‘s help and support!
First, we will continue to canvass the Weber Park neighborhood, informing residents about our club, registering voters, and informing residents of the ACA information event that will be happening at the North Roseville REC Center, that same day.
We will meet at 10 AM at the REC Center (313 High Street Roseville, CA MAP ) and go out into the neighborhood to meet with the residents.
Next, at 12 Noon, we will meet at the REC center to meet the families coming to the REC center. There, we will provide (with the generous help of the UC Davis Center for Reducing Health Disparities) information regarding the Affordable Care Act to people visiting the REC center. This event will take place from 12 Noon until 2:30 PM.
These are two important event and we will need everyone to COME OUT and SUPPORT the community.
Thank you!
